The new Super Record chain has been redesigned to harmonize seamlessly with all the new components of the drivetrain system. A primary goal was to compress the overall dimensions and save weight without compromising performance and durability. Thanks to the new pins, which are perfectly aligned with the outer surface of the chain links, the width of the chain has been reduced to just 5.15 millimetres. The links are made of high-quality steel and have a nickel Teflon coating, which minimizes corrosion and reduces friction losses.
